For those of us with petite frames, the right tailoring can make all the difference—and this classic combination has become one of my favourite go-to looks for cooler spring and summer days.
The foundation of the outfit is a pair of tailored neutral linen trousers. Lightweight but structured, they elongate the leg without overwhelming a smaller frame. I love how the natural texture of linen gives off a relaxed yet refined vibe—perfect for navigating work meetings or lunch on a sunny patio. I usually go for a cropped or ankle-grazing cut to keep proportions flattering and clean but these are full length cut short for petite women for a more formal look.
Layered on top is an ecru fitted bouclé jacket—a timeless piece that instantly elevates the outfit. The subtle texture adds depth, while the tailored silhouette offers that sharp, elegant line every petite wardrobe needs. Bouclé is also perfect for transitional weather: warm enough for those breezy mornings but not too heavy as the day heats up.
To finish it off, I rely on a pair of espadrille court nude suede shoes. They give just the right lift with a comfortable block heel and blend beautifully with the outfit’s neutral tones.
